I have a very sweet bundle of joy to share with you all today! Mr. Canaan made his way into the world at the end of March and he is the perfect little addition to the Hanson family! Big sister Chloe definitely loves her little brother 🙂 I had such a wonderful time hanging out with Kayla, Curt, Chloe and Canaan during their lifestyle newborn session – these sessions are such a great way to capture the real things that happen when you have a new baby. For instance, when we were taking family pictures, Chloe really wanted her big gerber daisy flowers in the picture too 🙂 SO, those are the adorable little things that kids do which I’m so happy to capture – because that is real life stuff!! 🙂 Chloe recently turned two years ago, so we were lucky enough to capture some adorable portraits of just her too 🙂 Enjoy the Hanson family!

Yes, yes, yes MORE gorgeous images of my nieces, Emersyn + Elsie!!! Elsie turned 1 in the middle of January and Emersyn celebrated her 4th birthday a few weeks ago 🙂 These two are full of tons of energy and keep me on my toes when I photograph them, but I think this session we did at the Plains Art Museum in February is my FAVORITE of all time of these two beauties 🙂 We also did a trial run cake smash for Elsie’s party at their house while I babysat one day – to say it was a wild afternoon, is an understatement – you’ll see what I mean!! 🙂 When you have two blonde babes as cute as these two, it’s impossible to not love every single image – at least I do 🙂 Enjoy!!
FAMILY: The Gowan’s // Grand Forks Family Photographer

Boy do I have a treat for you all today! I had the opportunity to photograph not one, but three beautiful Gowan girls!! Jen + Derek are hard working parents to three year old Lainey and twin six month girls, Molly + Mia! I loved working with this family to capture some beautiful images. I was completely amazed at how well the twins did and of course, Lainey stole the show with her hysterical faces and chatter 🙂 Jen picked out the cutest outfits for everyone to wear – they perfectly coordinated without being matchy matchy (I’m such a fan of this!!) We rented out the top floor of the Plains Art Museum since it was the middle of February – it was such a cool location and I loved the beautiful natural light that poured into room. We couldn’t have asked for a better session and I’m so glad I got to showcase the adorable little personalities of these three little ladies during this time of their life 🙂 I sure hope to see them soon again to see how they’ve grown! Until then, enjoy the Gowan Fam!
