Happy Tuesday! I’ve been off the blogging trail this summer with keeping busy on weddings, portrait sessions and so much TRAVELING, but, part of my summer travels including heading to Montana with my husband and our pup Gus to photograph my cousin Jeff’s wedding! He married the sweetest, kindest, and most down to earth bride I’ve ever met! Kaitlin was so beautiful and graceful the entire day. Their casual, laid back ceremony and atmosphere was one I’ll never forget – they were married on top of the Rimrocks in Billings overlooking the city.The view was beautiful and we had a gorgeous backdrop to work with for portraits and their ceremony. The colors popped against the scenery and the love shared between Jeff + Kaitlin was indescribable! These two were clearly meant for each other and I’m so happy they had so many friends and family make the trek to Montana to witness them becoming Mr. and Mrs. Bolton! After the ceremony, we all headed to a local brewery for some FABULOUS BBQ and drinks! I loved the way they incorporated little things that represented them into their day. To say I enjoyed myself at this special wedding is such an understatement! Congrats Kaitlin + Jeff – I’m so happy for you two! 🙂

JOY: Baby Ella // Fargo Newborn Photographer

As you all know, lifestyle newborn sessions are quickly becoming one of my favorite sessions to shoot! There’s just something about the rawness and realness of a new baby in their new environment at home with their family that I LOVE. Ella made her entrance into the world this past May and joined mom, dad, and her adoring big brother, Jack! Jack is such a good big brother – he is very attentive and aware of what Ella is doing and feeling. He is so cute with her and I loved watching them interact 🙂 Ella is completely loved and has an amazing little family – I’m so happy for them! Amanda and I met 10 years ago while attending UND and I was so excited when she contacted me to capture Ella’s newborn session 🙂 Congratulations to the Brown Family!

KNOT-TIED: Mara + Anthony // Fargo Wedding Photographer

I’ve been waiting and waiting to post this gorgeous wedding and I’m so finally thrilled to be sharing it with you all! From the moment I met Mara and Anthony, I knew their day would be absolutely fabulous. You can just tell from the energy between them, they way they look at each other and their sense of style that their wedding day would be one of my favorites from 2017 – and it was! The entire day took place at Rustic Oaks – the beautiful scenery coupled with the red barn and apple trees in bloom made their day unforgettable. Every one of Mara’s visions for her wedding came to life – from the beautiful bridesmaids dresses, to the handmade bouquets and every little detail in-between. The family and friends in attendance poured their love out to them as they said their vows and walked back down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. Sommerfeld! We snuck away for a few sunset portraits before I left and boy am I glad we had time to do this! They were by far some of my favorite images of the day 🙂 I’m so incredibly happy for these two and wish them nothing but joy in the years to come! Enjoy!!
