ENGAGED: Mandy + Cody // Grand Forks Engagement Photographer

Only 13 more days until Mandy + Cody tie the knot!! I’m super excited for their Grand Forks wedding and can’t wait to celebrate with them! We had some bad weather while trying to figure out their engagement session, but finally had the most perfect night to capture some gorgeous images! I loved how natural these two were in front of the camera – they were instantly able to just be themselves and enjoy the night! I love their laid-back personalities and the way they can just roll with it – these qualities will make their wedding SO much more fun! I love the little spot we shot at – a family showed me this location last fall and since then, I’ve been in love! There are so many cute little nooks and crannies to explore and I never tired of the beautiful images that are produced from this area 🙂 Enough chatter, let’s get to the images!! FAMILY: The Vance’s // Fargo Family Photographer

Babies are the best!! I’ve had so many amazing kid and family sessions so far in 2016, but Dawson’s was definitely a special one!! His mama Kylee and I have been friends for TEN, yes TEN years! It’s so surreal to watch your friends have babies, but man, I know she and her husband Jeff might be some of the best parents in the world – this little guy is SO lucky 🙂 Again, yes, this blog post is a bit tardy, but I still had to share the cuteness of Dawson at almost 7 months old! He’s so adorable in his bowtie and fedora hat that I wanted everyone to be able to gawk at his little smile. He’s almost one year old now and I know he’s brought nothing but joy to his parents over this past year – Cheers to a whole year, Daws!

KNOT-TIED: Vanessa + Max // Grand Forks Wedding Photographer

Only appropriate to blog a wedding on the season finale of the Bachelorette! Although I must say, Vanessa made a much better selection with Max than JoJo did with Jordan…just saying 🙂 Vanessa + Max’s Northern Minnesota wedding was a serious blast! These two are just perfectly meant for each other – they compliment each other in the best ways. Their day was filled with a ton of sunshine, friends and family, and a big red BARN! Shooting portraits with these two was a breeze – they truly know how to act natural with each other and I was loving the locations they chose 🙂 Vanessa’s dress was absolutely STUNNING! She made a gorgeous bride who beamed from ear to ear when she saw her handsome groom, Max. I’m so glad I was able to be a part of the Thompson’s wedding day – their family and friends were absolutely welcoming and I felt right at home. Being a part of someone’s wedding day is a huge honor – thank you Vanessa + Max for allowing me into your lives 🙂 Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Thompson! 🙂
