    KNOT-TIED: Jenny + Brian // Fargo Wedding Photographer

    Happy Summer!! Man, this summer has absolutely FLOWN by for me, so I’m once again, playing catch up on blogging! First up, the gorgeous wedding between Jenny + Brian 🙂 I absolutely loved hanging out with these two and their super outgoing bridal party all day! I truly felt a part of their clan (despite the fact that I’m a UND alum!!). Jenny’s color scheme, bridal gown, florals, and her sense of style created such gorgeous backdrops and such beautiful photographs. Jenny is just about as sweet as they come and Brian is such an endearing guy to be around – together, they make quite the pair. I always love when couples trust me on portrait locations – we had such a fabulous spot by the river to capture their first pictures as husband and wife 🙂 Again, I can’t say enough about these two and how much I enjoyed capturing the biggest day of their life thus far – congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Schaetz!!2018-08-01_0001.jpg

    FAMILY: Spring Mini Sessions // Fargo Family Photographer

    Happy Easter, everyone! What a better way to celebrate the day than to share some cute kids and my early spring indoor mini’s with you all today! I loved these sessions from a few weeks ago – most of these families I’ve had in front of my camera before 🙂 I love the opportunity to rent out Studio Share (thanks, Michelle!!) in the winter months in order to still capture “milestone sessions” for these gorgeous families!

    Another exciting note –  I’ll be posting information for my MAY “blossoming trees” sessions in the next week or two! If you’re interested in getting information, please let me know!

    First up, 7 month old Anders and his adoring parents, Liz + Zach!! Isn’t he adorable?! He hammed it up for his session and gave me soooo many smiles!!

    The Moe Family! Dempsey, Trisha and James surprised me during their session by dressing Dempsey in a “big brother” shirt – how exciting! Trisha always nails it on the outfits and I’m just so excited to see this family grow!

    Last but not least, the hearTbreaker, HENRY!! This little man is just completely adorable and has the best facial expressions 🙂 His mama and I went to UND together – one day, we’ll tell Henry all of our Grand Forks secrets 🙂

    So much fun! I love mini’s – they’re the perfect amount of time for kids attention spans, yet you get so many different looks/images! All of these sessions were accomplished in 20 minutes – crazy, right?!

    Happy SNOWY Sunday, everyone!! What a fitting day to blog Alea + Ben’s winter wedding today during the blizzard we’re having! Their day fell on a seriously gorgeous February day with minimal wind and above zero temps (it was still cold, but it could have been so much worse!!). These two and their super fun bridal party were so go-with-the-flow and were champs during our quick outdoor portrait time! We also utilized the gorgeous backroom at Up North in East Grand Forks – it was such a great space to use on a cold day! Alea + Ben’s day went off without a hitch and it was so apparent how much love these two have for each other and everyone around them. There was so much joy, laughter and smiles that surrounded their day – I was so happy to be a part of their wedding! Alea’s dress, shoes, and color scheme were completely beautiful and her bridesmaids stunned in their dark blue dresses. Ben + his men were strapping in their super fancy tuxes – they were quite the group of gentlemen! Overall, the day was such an awesome occasion to celebrate these two becoming husband and wife!! Winter weddings can be somewhat of a gamble in this neck of the woods, but when the weather cooperates, it creates the prettiest images and backdrops 🙂 Enjoy!
